Hi fellow sclonching candidates,
Having checked with the keeper of the diary, I find the following:
Available dates at the moment:
Tues 23/11
Mon 29/11 - Sat 4/12 inclusive
Mon 6/12 - Fri 10/12 inclusive
Mon 13/12 - Fri 20/12 inclusive
(I say "at the moment" because things like Christmas events are bound to start coming up soon - so the sooner we can fix a date the better, as far as I'm concerned!)

Gosh - how flattering to be a sine qua non thingy - though I'm certain it's unjustifiable really!
Well, I've consulted The Boss and it seems I might be allowed out to play on the the following dates (all inclusive):
November: Friday 19th to Sunday 21st
November: Friday 26th to Sunday 28th
December: Friday 10th to Sunday 12th
[isn't it good when everything lines up like that!]
I could bring some bits and pieces from my little Atkin Museum, if you like - I think MoM has seen most of them, and JtJ some, but if other Sclonchmen may like to be distracted for a few moments by one or two rare Midvodian artefacts...?
Just tell me where to go (most people do!) and when.
Looking forward to it.

Hi All
We can make any of the dates Andy suggests except for Friday 19th.
We'd prefer Friday 26th or 10th followed by Saturday 27th or 11th.

It would appear that the best date for everyone is....
Friday 26 November 2004.
(At time of writing, this is the Friday after next).
May I suggest you put this date in your diaries (before we wait for objections, if any)?
More details of the venue (and how to find it) soon.
But now....

Following up my own objection, I've had a look at the dates everyone has said they're available/not available and the only possible day that seems to suit everyone is...
FX: envelope being opened, pause, expectant hush
...Friday 10th December.
Now - is there anyone here that can't make that date? If not, I propose we go for that.

How about a compromise - 7.30 and 8.30. It'll take a good half hour to get served anyway so starting at 7.30 means we probably won't start eating before 8 anyway.

Just noticed this conversation is dominating the "last 100 postings" list.

Now we have a date, venue and time (almost) agreed....
