I remember when I was young we used to make our own entertainment, like going to a shop and buying long-playing records, EPs, cassettes etc. Kids today just won't believe this. I'm not sure I do come to that...

The delay in my reply to the newsletter, though, was not caused by the distance (or the time it takes to canoe over here).
Pete suggested gigs. Yes please. Rachel and hopefully third-generation Atkin fan Amos and I will be in Cambridge from the 17th of June until the 7th of July, and then in Paris until the end of July. Any chance for a gig nearby during that time?

PS Possibly fourth generation? I think my father's mother once went to a James-Atkin performance.
PPS belatedly, add my voice to CD; it would make for a nicer gift, I think.
