If I can get Pete another gig at the wonderful Zeffirelli's in Ambleside next autumn, would anyone else like to tie in another date or two (or more) points north of Bristol? Looking at Fridays in September this time for Ambleside. Pete is in favour, in principle.

Pete is now confirmed for a return visit to Zeffirelli's in Ambleside, Friday 20th September 2024. Leigh has been working on having him back to Middlesborough on Sat 21st, which looks like happening too but may not be totally confirmed yet.
Anyone got a gig for Pete either side of that weekend, somewhere between Bristol and the North?

I think Terry means in West Yorkshire but I can add that Ambleside is surprisingly easy for public transport - train to Windermere then a good choice of buses and plenty of accommodation. If you're not on too tight a budget Ambleside Manor is run by the same people as Zeffirelli's and comes recommended by several of my friends.

one possibility is the Kitchen Garden Cafe in Kings Heath in Birmingham. Pete sold out the venue when playing there some months back, so I would have thought the proprietors would be open to a return. Its about a quarter of the way to/from Ambleside from Bristol (and I don't have any contacts to make this happen - just a thought)
