ERROR 404 : FILE NOT FOUND
It appears you were expecting to find a page, document or image at the following URL :

http://www.peteatkin.com/various-artists/videos/view/great-grammy%25C2%25AE-moments-2000--27181525;_ylt=AhWMDUBPFiW_2tF0aH2fMWMQxCUv ;

on this, the Pete Atkin Website. Accordingly I (your faithful server) have just searched the entire edifice at peteatkin.com and must advise you, with regret, that no such item exists at the specified location.

One possible explanation (though improbable, I'm sure) is that you made a mistake when typing in the page address; it's more likely that S J Birkill, our hard-working Webmaster, is to blame. The site has been here for a good many years and is continually evolving, and though (should he need to remove, rename or relocate a page) the Webmaster does try to provide forwarding or redirection to avoid my having to serve you this '404' error, he's not totally infallible—he may have deleted a page but overlooked an unfulfilled hyperlink somewhere.

Another possibility is that you've followed a link to content provided exclusively for members of Pete's on-line 'fan club' Midnight Voices. Access to certain items is restricted to members, for confidentiality or copyright reasons. If this is the case you will find that logging into MV first will remove the block.

However, the most probable reason for the error message is that you've followed an out-of date, incorrectly typed or otherwise mangled link from somewhere else on the Web. There's not much any of us (you, Mr B or even Mr Atkin) can do about that. The Internet is an almost unimaginably huge space—even the bits of it that reference this site are unnumbered—and many of its rooms, halls and mansions are hastily created, poorly maintained, infested, abandoned or even derelict. Even Google doesn't always get it right.

Before you go, I'll try to help you take away something of value. We have four principal departments :

Smash Flops, the Pete Atkin Website
News, gigs, reviews and links to piles of reference material—literally hundreds of pages—on Pete Atkin and Clive James. Some of the links, especially the promotions and reviews, reveal even more pages if you drill down a level or two. There's a search form to help you find what you're looking for. And you can sign up here to receive an occasional e-mail newsletter direct from Pete.

The Pete Atkin Discography
Really just a sub-page to Smash Flops, but... albums, singles and all the songs, multiply indexed with masses of linked data sources including photos, lyrics, chords, lead sheets and annotations, plus a choice of audio players to stream out virtually everything Pete has ever recorded.

Midnight Voices
Pete's online fan club, a place for free discussion on everything even remotely Atkin-related, and itself a vast resource of information (over 17,000 posts) spanning more than 20 years of the "Pete Atkin revival", with contributions from many who knew Pete and his work back in the 1960s and '70s. MV membership allows you to post, confers right of access to additional archive material and also unlocks hidden features of the Website. Here again you can search the archives by key word or phrase.

The Hillside Music on-line shop
Pete's own online record store is also hosted here. Buy a selection of his CDs at competitive prices. Other outlets are available.
