Title: "Spoiler" text insertion
Post by S J Birkill on Today at 04:04
Here's a method to post text which will remain concealed unless (and until) the reader chooses to see it: surround it with the tags for "black text" on "black background" (the coloured 'A' and 'B' buttons in the header bar of the message composition box will insert these) and the result is that the text so rendered will appear simply as a black rectangle until the reader highlights it, for instance by dragging the text cursor across it, as illustrated here:

[bgcolor=Black]This is a hidden message![/bgcolor]

Pete may wish to use this method for his playlists.

When I get back to base next week I'll see about implementing a "spoiler" tag which will do this automatically for a block of text, in a similar manner to the "code" and "quote" tags.

Steve

PS: Thanks to Snoopy for this idea!
