I couldn't understand why my screen kept twitching every minute or so but I've tracked it down to the news headlines at the top. Most of them have one line but at least one has two and when it gets to that message the screen twitches down a line and then back up again when it changes to the next.
I know this is picky but would it be possible to fill in the shorter ones with a blank line or keep them all to one line. I realise this may not always be possible or it might just be too fiddly but since forum things are being tweaked at present I thought I'd ask :)

Don't worry Steve. If its a problem at this end then I'll ask them to buy me a new screen :)

What does the question mark icon mean on the first post in this thread (and others) and how does it get there. I'm sure there's a ridiculously simple answer to this so I'll start blushing now to save time!!
Oooo - look - I've just answered my own question. ;)
Keeping this on thread though - I've got a 'twitch' on posting messages. If I'm at the top or bottom of the page and move my cursor up or down to the message window (without clicking) the window jumps up .. or down. Slightly disconcerting if you're not paying attention but at least I know why!!

Should be better now. I'm working on another fix for the Post form which will help protect against loss of input on submitting without a subject entry. -- SJB
