MV Archive & Members' Area

This might be a daft question (go on - say it! Wink)

Will the MV archive and members' area continue to be available on the Smash Flops website by logon id/password known to members as with the old MV?

Subsidiary question: if so, how will any future changes to the userid/password for the members' area be communicated to group members without non-members being able to see it?

Cheers

Paul

p.s. some of the smiley icons haven't appeared on my screen - I'm not that worried but thought I'd mention it

Paul,

I don't think we can sustain two levels of MV membership. I shall be looking into the members-only area in the next few days, to decide how to tackle this. Some members-only items might be made available to all without too much risk (e.g. the MP3s and video archives); some I may have to close (such as the private messages in Clive's 60th birthday gift book, released to members only with the authors' permission). Yet others (the message archives for instance) will need to be modified (deletion of e-mail addresses for instance) for public consumption. I doubt I shall go all the way and index them as I did for Year 1, but I'll decide.
