FORMER Australian prime minister John Howard considers the legacy of his political idol, and Australia's longest serving prime minister, Sir Robert Menzies , in a new television documentary series Howard On Menzies, the first part of which will be shown this Sunday night on the ABC.
In this episode, Howard and Clive James talk about life and growing up in the suburbs of Menzies' Australia.
Howard On Menzies airs 7.40pm, Sunday September 18 and 25 on ABC.
