Well spotted, Ian. Yes, indeed this is the same Tony Marsh. It was the Mike Westbrook connection that confirmed it, because I once saw him play in the MW band along with Steve Cook, the bass player who'd been a chum in the Footlights. I can't say I knew him at all, of course, beyond the single three-hour session that Don Paul booked him for, when we recorded tracks for BOTBS all those years ago in that long-gone little basement studio off the Tottenham Court Road. But for all that, he's a part of the story.
