Pete may well be give his chance to "spread his wings" at Above the Title, but from where I stand his track record there – a track record that has included the documentary about Stephen Potter Pottermanship (http://www.abovethetitle.com/02_fd/fd_200301.php)(2003) with Stephen Fry, The Woman Who Invented Sitcom (http://www.abovethetitle.com/02_fd/fd_200403.php)(2004), the radio adaptation of Frederic Raphael’s The Glittering Prizes (http://www.abovethetitle.com/01_cd/cd_200506.php)(2005), the fascinating Something in the Air (http://www.abovethetitle.com/03_ma/ma_200501.php)(2005) and Jam Yesterday (http://www.abovethetitle.com/01_cd/cd_200511.php)(2005) by Peter Nichols. – already has enough "wingspread" in it to look distinguished.

Needless to say, those of us who think audio broadcasting has got a future, even in this internet age, wish Pete well and look forward with considerable interest to what he may do in his new role.
