Hi

Avner's link to the 1980 show featuring the late great Roy Plomley as facilitator appears to have expired.

However CJ also seems to have featured in Sue Lawley's version in 2000 which is available here : https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00949tr it is unclear how long this will be available.

Perhaps Avner's link was a temporary one for a recent R4 repeat? I think the Desert Island Discs permanent archive (https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006qnmr/episodes/player) (2258 episodes) has all the broadcasts. Clive's two are both working for me:

Roy Plomley, 1980 (https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p009mw52)
Sue Lawley, 2000 (https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00949tr)

(And they'll both be in the updated and corrected clivejames.com archive when we publish it -- currently Work in Progress, with the 'Audio' section under development as I write...)
