Title: Clive on the Beeb website today
Post by Leslie Moss on Today at 13:23
An informative interview with Clive James, principally about his website and his views on modern TV. He is about to start a weekly Radio 4 series.

There's an "add your comments" - someoine has already name-checked his composing partner - one of us?

There's an interview with Clive James on the BBC News site - Magazine section. who is about to begin a weekly broadcast on Radio 4.
(At the foot of the site, it says that "A Point of View" is broadcast "on Friday at 2250" - well, according to my Radio Times it ain't this Friday - and 0850 on Sunday.)

Very interesting stuff - and the remarks posted include one from a big fan of PA/CJ's work, a Mr Williams of Basingstoke (I wonder if he is an MV.)

My only gripe: the link from the BBC News homepage rather irritatingly refers to Mr James as "the grandad of YouTube". Oh dear, I feel a rant coming on, so I will stop now.

Just seen the stuff on the BBC website and have posted a comment pointing to Pete's website which may hopefully bring a few more potential converts in - if they add it, that is.  I guess they read the stuff first before doing so, which won't now be until Monday, probably.

I fear the BBC moderators will remove any URLs from your posting - at least, that seems to be their usual procedure. Presumably they are worried about spammers, or including any links to 'undesirable' websites :(

The link to his latest 'Magazine' article is here (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/6324407.stm).

Cheers

Paul
