Title: Famous last words - Quiz
Post by Sylfest on Today at 13:29
Hi y'all

FAMOUS LAST WORDS

Here's a little quiz to get you thinking about great songs on warm evenings.

For 12 points, give the titles of the James/Atkin songs which conclude thus:

1         Ammunition
2         Today
3         Glass
4         It
5         Head
6         Hat
7         Woo-woo
8-9      Delight (2 songs)
10-12  Free (3 songs)

While I'm thinking about that - only got 6 in the first 5 mins but I am doing this at work - may I ask one too, more in the style of the old RBQ

Link together "Perfect Moments" and "The last hill that shows you all the valley", via "Wristwatch for a drummer", "The faded mansion on the hill" and "All the dead were strangers "

See you at Sheffield (part of the Marriott sclonch)
Cheers,
Nedd

I'm going to give everyone a total of 10 days to try the quiz.
Then I'll give the answers (such as I know them).
Since I posted this on 24th July, you all have until the 34th July.
Er, that's it.

I've had two submissions so far.
One of them - Kevin Cryer - scored a bullseye. Respect!
Can you get it too? Can you get the additional 'head' found by Nedd?
Only a few days left!

Hmm...
By my reckoning the 34th July is today. So here are the results of the quizling, if anyone's still interested:

1         Ammunition : Search and Destroy
2         Today : Thought of You
3         Glass : Urban Guerrilla
4         It : Have you got a Biro?
5         Head : The Double Agent – oops there’s a second –  Get It Out of Your Head
6         Hat: Dancing Master
7         Woo-woo: The Original, Original Honky-Tonk Night Train Blues (duet version)
8-9      Delight (2 songs) : Master of the Revels; Lady of a Day
10-12  Free (3 songs): Femme Fatale, Fat Cat

Regards
Sylfest
