Back at the Prom, Gloucester Road, Bristol, as part of our continuing north Bristol tour on Thursday 15th January. The best value free gig anywhere around.

Further to Pete's note, I regret I omitted to mention the last Shrinks gig attended by m'lady Davina and self at the Bristol Sports Club before Christmas. The band was on really great form - and, unusually for their usual configuration on stage, that chap on keyboards was quite visible. (Visible, I said, not risible!) As Pete commented during the interval...there is nothing quite like LIVE music!

Bristol United Sports Club in Colston Street really is a very agreeable venue - my wife particularly likes the fact that it's decor and style seem to be set somewhere around the "Life on Mars" era.
However, the best thing about it is that you are allowed to listen to musicians performing...the "murmur" at the bar is sufficiently far from the band and the audience to provide no distraction at all.

If you are in the West, and have, as yet, not caught up with the Shrinks, I heartily recommend the next gig at the Prom.

Pete mentioned at Hove that the Shrinks would be playing The Prom, Bristol in July. Do we know the date yet?
