The Shrinks are playing at the Bristol Folk House on Friday June 3 (full line-up, including both Fishes) when, as has become traditional (i.e. it's happened twice before), the band will be its own warm-up, with individuals (including me) doing a couple of things each.

Our next outing at the Prom in Bristol is on Thursday 22 Sept.

At last, a Shrinks gig that I might be able to get to! (Been very unlucky with dates of previous gigs.)

I've not been to the Bristol Folk House before so I have a couple or three questions. Are there any membership requirements, or can I just turn up on the night? Can or should I preorder tickets? Any idea when you expect to finish? (Not that I want to cut you short, but I have a 2 hour drive home aferwards!)

No, no membership required. Details are on the Folk House website:

The most important thing you need to know is that access is down an unpromising passageway between shops on Park Street (there's a map on the site).

The Shrinks will be playing in the upstairs bit (where the bar is) which is much friendlier than the big canteen-like hall downstairs. I'd guess the opening individual-and-several set will begin about 830 or 845 and the main Shrinks set at about 945, finishing promptly by eleven.

Y'all missed a great evening!

4 solo sets to get us going, then over an hour of The Shrinks en masse - and all for only a fiver!

Sorry I had to rush off afterwards, Pete, but it was indeed a 2 hour drive home and I fully intended to go straight to bed - then I spent an hour writing the web page at http://www.simonreap.com/Shrinks, where you will find a full set list and some pictures.
