What a delight to spot a Midnight Voice in a speaking role on the tellybox on Sunday evening (Jan 15th). For those who missed it -- and for those who may be about to get the DVD -- Ed Tolputt (of this parish) played the older Oliver, the schoolboy general knowledge whizz, towards the end of Stephen Poliakoff's epic "Friends and Crocodiles", which also starred Damian Lewis (who, of course, achieved public recognition and acceptance through his role in the BBC Radio 4 version of "The Glittering Prizes" last year). Great stuff, Ed!
