Sad news at this otherwise happy time: Alan Sizer was killed in a road accident in the early hours of Monday, 10 days ago, while returning home from Cornwall. The crash was reported on BBC Cornwall news.
Al was a contemporary of Pete and a member of Cambridge Footlights, performing with him in many a smoker and revue, including 1967's Supernatural Gas. He was one of Pete's longest-standing friends and had only recently joined Midnight Voices, though some will have had the opportunity to meet him when he attended our High Wycombe reception a couple of years ago.
Our condolences go out to Al's family and friends.
