Good to hear Day by day (Godspell) by Julie Covington on Sarah Kennedy's Radio 2 programme this morning. Never realised that was such a repetitious song.
I remember hearing it on the TV from the next room in the early seventies in what must have been a broadcast of the show. I hadn't known Julie was in it but recognised the voice instantly. It was the same a few years later when I first heard Don't cry for me Argentina, one of those moments which I can clearly recall, I can visualise the room and almost read the maker's name off the radiogram. (There's a word that's fallen into disuse!).
