Title: Anniversary time
Post by Ian Chippett on Today at 17:26
While visiting Smash Flops to remind myself exactly when the Buxton gig took place I discovered that the first Monyash Festival took place exactly ten years ago yesterday which means that MV is nearly ten years old. Any ideas on how we could commemorate this? Another -oD (preferably a bit nearer the City of Light)?

I woz there!

This dates the launch of MV to the afternoon of 31st August 1997.

I've just been browsing the week one archive and now I'm feeling all nostalgic (sniff..). Full of the names of virtual friends and fellow fans nearly all now disappeared from view. Seems everyone thought 1) Pete was dead and/or 2)They  were the only person to remember him 3)wondered how to get hold of the old albums.

How times have changed!

Best to all

Gerry

PS If anyone's interested, I have the entire MV email archive in Eudora (mbx/toc) format. If you'd like it emailed across, just let me know.

And the airfares (plus 5-star hotels for all) are on you, my dear Mr Trumper  ;)

Aw, c'mon, Naomi, just a couple of highly paid concerts and you'll have gotten your airfare and hotel costs together. ;D

Chicago's fine by me, Bogus. Now over to Pete . . .

I did listen to Jeremy Taylor in the Unitaria Temple in Chicago.  Struck me as possible MV type place....  :D
