BBC4 is screening a documentary called
REMEMBER THE SECRET POLICEMAN'S BALL?
on Thursday 9 December 2004 9pm-10.15pm and again at midnight-1.15am
Although (as I understand it ) the Mermaid Frolics was a kind of lead up to the various Policeman's Balls, Pete is presumably unlikely to make even a fleeting appearance.

Just a reminder that the TV edition of the Mermaid Frolics (feat. J. Cov., the Bowles Bros. Band, P. Cook, P. Ustinov, J. Miller, J. Cleese, etc., etc, plus a bit of me) is available on DVD as "The Secret Policeman's Ball - Vol.1 The Early Years", separately from the box set of all of the Amnesty concerts.
