Pre-event dinner, you mean? For two?
Currently I have the following waifs and strays to meet at the Marriott at 5:45pm on Saturday:
Jan
Nedd (preference noted)
Carey (ditto)
Paul and Frankie
Leslie and Gill
Colin and Kate
Please advise if incorrect (IM or PM probably best to avoid cluttering up main thread).

Oyez, oyez. All PRE-EVENT SCLONCHIN' DINERS. After consultation with the local authorities, it has been deemed advisable to bring forward dinner time to 5:30 and to patronize the Cafe Rouge, 383-385 Eccleshall Road. Accordingly, reservations will be made for said time on Saturday 9th September for:

Nedd
Carey
Paul and Frankie
Leslie and Gill
Colin and Kate
That man with the bell
Dr. Sir. Rev. Steve +1 (?)
Moi
The menu can be consulted at http://www.caferouge.com/uploads/pdfs/menus/core.pdf
Foregather either at the Marriott at 5:15 or at Cafe Rouge itself at 5:30. I will swing by on Friday to make sure all is in order.
Please let me know a.s.a.p. if you do not wish to be of the party (IM best to avoid cluttering main thread).

Just getting back on track for a minute to the after show gathering, I've just been in touch with those very nice Marriott people and they have agreed to extend my deadline on the sarnie count until Monday 4th September. Which means I need anyone who wants to come who hasn't let me know already, to do so by Sunday evening please.

Just to confirm that two tables have been booked in my name at the Cafe Rouge, 383-385 Eccleshall Road, for 5:30pm on Saturday. There is one place remaining. Let me know tootsweet if you would like it. Meet either at the Marriott at 5:15 or at the restaurant at 5:30.

Rather than clutter the main ThoD thread I am posting my heartfelt Apologies for Absence from ThoD, and indeed from the sclonch, here, Madame Chairwoman (Carole!).
As a huge PA fan and keen Midvodian I'm extremely sorry to have to miss what will no doubt be a wonderful and memorable occasion. The thing is, I have two gigs soon with little overlap between the songs that I'll be performing (i.e. I have a lot of repertoire to prepare!) - and I simply have to rehearse this weekend.
Have a great time - and I very much hope to see Pete in concert soon,

To all you ThoDers out there, I hope you have a great time!
I'm extremely jealous that I can't be with you, twiddling knobs, but family commitments, I suppose, take precedence (why did my mother pick *this* weekend to be 75?).
I expect to hear a full report immediately after the event, with set lists, dinner menus, numbers of sandwiches consumed, and as much detail of the gossip at the sclonch as possible. You *know* you want to......

I know it's well after the deadline but I've been hibernating. I'll be at the gig with 3 friends and I'm sure they will all want to wind down with fellow Atkinites.

Just to let anyone know who is coming tomorrow, if you haven't previously told me that you will be at the reception, it doesn't matter, you may still go along and will be very welcome. I needed an idea of numbers attending so I would be able to order about the right number of sandwiches and not waste money. This is included in the price of your ticket! At that time of night I know from past experience that one round of sandwiches per person is wasteful. It's not intended to be a meal, only a small snack. So we all share a smaller quantity.
So do come along after the show - it's part of the 'total experience'
