It is with great sadness that I must report the death, earlier today, of my friend, fellow musician and MV, Dr Martin Howell. Martin was an Eastbourne based GP as well as a talented musician and composer. Martin and friend Andy Oppenheimer achieved cult success over more than 30 years with their band Oppenheimer Analysis - www.oppenheimeranalysis.com, particularly in Germany and the USA.
Martin was a lifelong fan of Pete and Clive and he and I often attended Pete's southern gigs together, particularly at The Lamb in Eastbourne. I know he had 3rd of July 2013 in his diary.
Martin leaves his wife, Angeline and two children of university age.
