Clive James has two new poems in the June isssue of Standpoint, one dedicated to the recently deceased friend, the poet Peter Porter (1929 - 2010), and the other to belatedly mark the publication Dante Alighieri: Monarchia. Edited by Prue Shaw for the Società Dantesca Italiana, 2009, an editor who has the “true gift that would bring/Our house the honours that mean everything."
